And soon as the door opens, Zuko’s glancing at it and pushing out of bed to meet her halfway. What’d stretched into almost two weeks apart was more than enough for him, he wanted Mai back with him. While she’s on her tip toes, both arms get snaked around her waist and he waits for her to come back down before a kiss is pressed to her lips.
She wasn’t all that surprised to feel Zuko’s presence
and for him to immediately take her into his arms, but
nonetheless the kiss had caught her a little off guard
as she settled back properly from her stretching. Her
hands rested on his shoulders, humming gently as
she returned the kiss in full.❝ Someone’s impatient. I just walked in.”
“I know, but I’ve missed you.”
Another kiss punctuated that statement, as well as pulling Mai fully against him. Now that she was done stretching she could definitely get his full attention and give it right back, and there was plenty of that to be exchanged between the two of them.
