This post below is basically one made in conjunction with this [ x ] one, since like Aerie, Maiko’s my OTP and like any other shipper, I had a random urge to ramble about these two, and in this particular case I had an urge to write out my interpretation of Zuko’s feelings for Mai in canon, examining all their interactions in Books 2 & 3 and in The Search and elaborating on why Zuko feels the way he does about Mai. If you don’t like the ship, I don’t recommend you bother reading. Just saying. And if anyone does get through the little novel I word-vomited out, well then four for you because I did ramble a lot because I had a lot of feels.
Desperately trying to activate writing muse. I want drafts and drabbles done really badly.
Okay so since I accidentally slept past church and didn’t go oh darn, I’m gonna be out the door in a minute. I won’t be back for at least 6 or 7 hours because I’m babysitting, then running down south a bit to pick up a friend who’s staying over tonight and we’re getting Chipotle while we’re out (can’t rush eating a burrito) and I’m getting my hair cut because it needs it bad. So yeah, I’ll be back when I’m back.
