        “The Queen Anne’s Revenge was my father’s ship and I will not stand for it being in the hands of the likes of Barbossa!” She snaps; Spanish accent rolling off the tongue so thick, she may just end up reverting to her native language again. “If anyone is going to be the captain of that ship, it is going to be me.” 

        She takes a step back then and recollects her thoughts. There is one thing she could offer. At the moment she was captaining La Serpiente; which, while not as grand as the Revenge or the Black Pearl, was certainly a vessel worth her keep. And she was well-stocked with rum. It was the latter bit of info she knew Jack would be interested in.

        “La Serpiente. I’m her Captain at the moment, but she will never mean to me what the Revenge does. That ship is all I have left of my father, Jack. I need it. La Serpiente is fully stocked with rum. If you’ll help me, you can have fifty percent of her stock.

        What do you say, Captain? Do we have an accord?”

She was just the queen of obvious statements today. It didn’t surprise Jack in the least that she wanted the Revenge back. Going against Barbosa would be no easy feat, he wasn’t a pirate to be underestimated, but then again neither was the woman in front of him either. She had been the one to fool enough people into believe she was actually Jack; a random thing he’d probably never get over, petty as it was.

Rum. Should’ve guessed she’d use his only weakness against him. A look of interest did cross his eyes, seems Jack was ruminating on whether or not the offer should be accepted. Seemed like an unorganized endeavor at the moment, but knowing Angelica there’d be more concrete plans in place soon enough. First step was finding Barbosa in the first place, but Jack knew his former comrade well enough; there were only so many places he’d make port in while showing off his latest conquest of a ship.

Still. Might as well see if the deal could be sweetened a bit more.

“And if I were to decline said offer?”
